Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 cup converted white rice
  • 1 can cream of celery or cream of chicken soup
  • 1 beef bouillon cube

Instructions

  1. Melt butter or margarine in a skillet.
  2. Saute the rice in the skillet until lightly browned, approximately 10 minutes.
  3. Transfer the browned rice into a casserole dish.
  4. Add the can of cream of celery or cream of chicken soup to the rice and mix well.
  5. Dissolve the beef bouillon cube in 1 1/2 cups of boiling water, then add to the rice mixture and stir.
  6. Cover the casserole with foil and bake at 350°F for approximately 1 hour.
