Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 oz unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. In a heavy saucepan, heat 3/4 of the milk until bubbles form around the edges.
  2. Add the unsweetened chocolate, stirring until melted.
  3. Add the sugar to the milk mixture.
  4. Stir the cornstarch into the reserved 1/4 cup of milk.
  5. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the pudding along with the salt.
  6. Cook, stirring, until bubbling and thickened.
  7. Fold in the vanilla extract.
