Ingredients

  • 10 medium potatoes, peeled and boiled
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 cup scalded milk
  • 1 large cream cheese, room temperature
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Pour melted butter and scalded milk over the peeled and boiled potatoes.
  2. Mash the potatoes until smooth.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Mix in the room temperature cream cheese until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mashed potatoes to a baking dish and cover.
  6. Bake covered at 325°F for 45 minutes.
