Tips & Substitutions

For a sweeter touch, consider adding a pinch of salt to enhance the peanut butter flavor. If you’re out of Bisquick, you can create a substitute by mixing all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. For a fun twist, try rolling the cookie balls in crushed nuts instead of granulated sugar. These cookies are similar to Lemon Sugar Cookies in texture and taste.

Serving Suggestions

These Peanut Blossom Cookies are delightful on their own or paired with a glass of cold milk. For a festive touch, serve them on a platter alongside Molasses Cookies during holiday gatherings. They also make a great addition to a dessert table featuring a variety of sweet treats.

Storage & Reheating

Store the cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. To keep them fresh, consider adding a slice of bread to the container; it helps maintain moisture. If you want to enjoy them warm, microwave them for about 10 seconds before serving.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use natural peanut butter instead of regular peanut butter?

Yes, you can use natural peanut butter, but keep in mind it may alter the texture slightly. Natural peanut butter has a thinner consistency, so you may need to adjust the amount of Bisquick to achieve the right dough consistency.

How can I make these cookies gluten-free?

To make these cookies gluten-free, substitute the Bisquick with a gluten-free baking mix. Ensure that all other ingredients, especially the chocolates, are also certified gluten-free to avoid cross-contamination.

Can I freeze these cookies?

Absolutely! You can freeze the baked cookies for up to three months. Place them in a single layer in an airtight container, separated by parchment paper. When you're ready to enjoy them, let them thaw at room temperature or warm them in the microwave.
