Ingredients

  • 1 stick pie crust mix
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 slightly beaten egg

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pie crust according to package directions and blend in brown sugar and vanilla.
  2. Add the beaten egg and chopped peanuts to the mixture.
  3. Spread the mixture on a well-greased 13 x 10-inch baking sheet to form a rectangle.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 to 17 minutes until done.
  5. Loosen the edges immediately after removing from the oven.
  6. Cool the cookies on the baking sheet.
  7. Cut the cookies into bars or squares.
