Ingredients

  • 2 large rabbits
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 bottle red cooking wine
  • 2 Tbsp. sweet basil
  • 1 Tbsp. ground thyme
  • 4 cans cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring red cooking wine, sweet basil, thyme, and chopped garlic to a boil.
  2. Add cream of mushroom soup to a baking dish and stir well.
  3. Add the rabbits to the dish.
  4. Bake for 2.5 hours at 325°F, basting every 20 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven when meat is tender and falling apart.
  6. Pour gravy over mashed potatoes and serve.
  7. Side dish is corn-on-the-cob.
