Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 4 tablespoons crisco
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 to 4 cups flour

Instructions

  1. Add yeast and warm water to a mixing bowl and let it activate.
  2. Add crisco, sugar, salt, and mix well.
  3. Add enough flour to reach the right consistency for kneading.
  4. Knead until air bubbles are out and dough is no longer sticky.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 40 to 50 minutes.
