Ingredients

  • 1 gal. cider
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice
  • 2 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Combine cider, brown sugar, undiluted lemonade, and orange juice in a large kettle.
  2. Heat to simmering.
  3. Add cloves, nutmeg, allspice, and cinnamon.
  4. Cover the kettle.
  5. Heat to simmering again and leave for 20 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
  7. Add spirits such as apple brandy or rum if desired.
