A decadent no-bake dessert featuring a chocolate cookie crust topped with vanilla ice cream, fudge sauce, whipped cream, and nuts, perfect for celebrations and cooling summer treats.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. chocolate wafers or Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
  • 1 jar thick fudge sauce
  • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix crushed chocolate wafers or Oreo cookies with melted butter.
  2. Press the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan and freeze.
  3. Soften the vanilla ice cream enough to spread.
  4. Spread the softened ice cream over the frozen crust.
  5. Freeze until the ice cream is firm.
  6. Spread thick fudge sauce over the ice cream layer and return to the freezer until the sauce is frozen.
  7. Spread whipped cream on top and garnish with chopped nuts.
  8. Store in the freezer until ready to serve.
