Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 lb. mixed ground beef (pork and veal)
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 4 slices bread, finely crumbled
  • 3 eggs
  • 8 oz. Feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, blend well the ground meat mixture, salt, pepper, garlic, onion, bread and 2 of the eggs.
  2. Pat onto sheet, 8 x 14 inches, on a piece of foil.
  3. Combine Feta and spinach; spread evenly over meat mixture.
  4. Roll up, starting at 8-inch side, using foil to help the process.
  5. Place, seam side down, on greased pan. Bake in preheated moderate oven at 350° for 45 minutes.
  6. Cool to room temperature.
