Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. sliced dried beef
  • 3 large chicken breasts, boned, skinned, and halved
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Run cold water over dried beef; drain.
  2. Arrange the dried beef in the bottom of a 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
  3. Place the halved chicken breasts over the dried beef.
  4. Top each chicken breast half with a slice of bacon.
  5. Bake until chicken is cooked through and bacon is crispy, approximately 45 minutes.
  6. In a saucepan, combine cream of mushroom soup and sour cream; heat until warmed.
  7. Serve the baked chicken with the mushroom sauce poured over the top.
