Fancy Slaw
Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage, chopped into thin strips or 1 bag already shredded ⓘ
- 1 pkg. Ramen noodles (uncooked) ⓘ
- 3 green onions (optional) ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds ⓘ
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 2 Tbsp. sugar ⓘ
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 1/2 c. vegetable or canola oil ⓘ
- 1 pkg. Ramen noodles seasoning (chicken flavor) ⓘ
Instructions
- Toast sesame seeds and almonds in 350° oven until light brown. Mix cabbage, Ramen noodles and onions together in bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve. Combine sugar, vinegar, pepper, oil, Ramen seasoning and salt. Pour over cabbage mixture just before serving. Then add toasted seeds and almonds. Toss until coated.
