Ingredients

  • 13 oz. lukewarm water
  • 1 Tbsp. yeast
  • 1 tsp. raw honey
  • 4 1/2 to 5 cups whole wheat flour

Instructions

  1. Mix honey in lukewarm water.
  2. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
  3. Mix flour and salt.
  4. Pour yeast mixture into the center of the flour mixture.
  5. Mix thoroughly until a dough forms.
  6. Put the dough into an oiled bread pan.
  7. Let rise about 20 minutes or until it just reaches the top of the pan.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 40 minutes, then enjoy.
