Ingredients

  • 1 Chikuwa
  • 1 small Japanese cucumber
  • 2 imitation crab sticks
  • 1 teaspoon mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Slice the Japanese cucumber lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  2. Place the crab sticks inside the cucumber halves and put the halves together.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on one side of the Chikuwa and push the cucumber through it.
  4. Cut the assembled fish cakes into 1/2-inch slices and serve with shoyu or mustard/shoyu sauce.
