- Divide sliced strawberries among 6 parfait glasses.
- Stir boiling water into gelatin until dissolved.
- Stir in cold water and ice cubes until ice melts.
- Pour 3/4 cup gelatin over strawberries in each glass.
- Refrigerate for 20 minutes, until set but not firm.
- Stir remaining gelatin with 1 cup whipped topping until smooth.
