Ingredients

  • 16 oz shell pasta
  • 12 oz Provolone cheese
  • 3/4 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 cans (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 stick margarine
  • plain bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Cook shell pasta for 7 minutes from boiling; drain.
  3. Heat tomato sauce and minced garlic in a saucepan.
  4. Mix the cooked pasta with the tomato sauce and garlic mixture.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a 9 x 12-inch baking pan.
  6. Lay slices of Provolone cheese on top of the pasta mixture.
  7. Sprinkle bread crumbs over the cheese.
  8. Drizzle melted margarine over the top.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes, ensuring not to overcook.
