- Drain pineapple, reserving 3/4 cup of juice.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch.
- Add pineapple juice, orange juice, and lemon juice to the saucepan.
- Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly; cook and stir for 1 minute longer.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine pineapple, mandarin oranges, chopped apples, and sliced bananas.
- Pour the warm sauce over the fruit mixture.
- Stir gently to coat all the fruit evenly.
- Cover and refrigerate before serving.
