Ingredients

  • 20 oz. can pineapple chunks
  • 1 can mandarin oranges
  • 3 unpeeled apples
  • 2 or 3 sliced bananas
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup orange juice

Instructions

  1. Combine the reserved juices from pineapple and oranges and measure 3/4 cup.
  2. Set aside the measured juice mixture.
  3. Mix cornstarch, sugar, and orange juice in a pan.
  4. Add the reserved fruit juices to the pan.
  5. Cook on the stove until thickened, stirring constantly.
  6. Allow the mixture to cool.
  7. Add chopped apples, sliced bananas, and pineapple chunks to the cooled glaze.
  8. Mix well to combine.
  9. Pour the fruit mixture into a covered dish and refrigerate for several hours, preferably overnight.
