- Heat oven to 425°F. Prepare the pastry crust.
- In a bowl, mix sugar, flour, ground nutmeg, ground cinnamon, and salt.

- Cover with the top crust that has slits cut in it. Seal and flute the edges.
- Cover the edge of the crust with a 3-inch strip of aluminum foil.
