- Wash cucumbers and slice very thin (1/16-inch).
- Place in stainless steel or glass container with finely chopped onion and green pepper.
- Toss with salt and mustard seed and let stand for 1 hour.
- Drain off as much juice as possible, without losing mustard seed.
