  • 3 Tbsp bacon drippings
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp crushed pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the collard greens into desired sizes.
  2. Wash the greens thoroughly.
  3. Heat bacon drippings in a boiler or large skillet until hot.
  4. Add the greens to the hot drippings.
  5. Stir the greens, then cover the pan.
  6. Reduce heat to low.
  7. Stir occasionally and cook until the greens are tender.
