- Shuck the ears of corn.
- Cut the corn in half lengthwise, removing the top kernels only.
- Then go back down the corn, extracting the cream and juice.
- In a bowl, combine the corn cream, juice, flour, sugar, salt, pepper, and water.
- Mix well to form a batter.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium to low heat.
- Fry spoonfuls of the batter until golden brown and cooked through.
