Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and milk together, adding more flour if necessary to create a stiff dough.
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until it is very thin.
  3. Cut the rolled dough into strips approximately 2 x 3 inches in size.
  4. Drop the strips into hot deep fat and fry until browned on one side.
  5. Turn the strips and brown on the other side.
  6. Serve hot.
