Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1/3 cup salad oil or bacon drippings
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Half unpeeled potatoes, then cut each half lengthwise into 3 or 4 wedges.
  2. Heat salad oil or bacon drippings in a skillet.
  3. Add the potato wedges, chopped onion, salt, and pepper to the skillet.
  4. Cover and cook about 20 minutes or until the potatoes are fork-tender and golden brown.
