Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pecans
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg white until frothy.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of water to the egg white and mix well.
  3. Add pecans to the egg white mixture and coat evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Add the sugar-cinnamon mixture to the pecan mixture and stir until coated.
  6. Spread the coated pecans on a cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for 1 hour at 200°F, stirring occasionally if desired.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  9. Put cooled pecans in a paper bag and break into pieces.
