Ingredients

  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 small package lemon Jell-O
  • 1 large can Carnation milk
  • 2 deep pie shells

Instructions

  1. Bake the pie shells until light brown and set aside to cool.
  2. Chill the can of Carnation milk until almost frozen.
  3. Bring the pineapple, sugar, and lemon Jell-O to a boil.
  4. Place the boiled mixture in the refrigerator to chill.
  5. Whip the iced Carnation milk with lemon juice until it stands and peaks.
  6. Combine the cold Jell-O mixture with the whipped milk in a large bowl.
  7. Pour the mixture into the cooled pie shells and immediately place in the freezer.
  8. Serve directly from the freezer, not thawing more than 10 minutes.
