Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups fruit cocktail (No. 2 can)
  • 15 vanilla wafers
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Place a sieve over a bowl.
  2. Pour the fruit cocktail into the sieve; drain the juice into the bowl.
  3. Put the vanilla wafers in a plastic bag and roll with a rolling pin until crumbs form.
  4. Spread the vanilla ice cream evenly in a cake pan.
  5. Place the drained fruit on top of the ice cream.
  6. Sprinkle the cookie crumbs evenly over the fruit and ice cream.
  7. Freeze for about 1 hour before serving.
