Ingredients

  • 8 cups strawberries, stemmed and sliced
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 (1 3/4 oz.) package pectin
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Mix strawberries and sugar together in a large bowl.
  2. Let stand for 20 minutes to allow the sugar to draw out the juices.
  3. Combine pectin and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, boiling for 1 minute.
  4. Pour the hot pectin mixture over the strawberries and sugar, and mix well.
  5. Seal the mixture in freezer containers and freeze.
