Ingredients

  • 2 c. milk
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/8 c. heavy cream
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Heat milk over boiling water; mix eggs, sugar, and salt. Slowly pour in hot milk while stirring.
  2. Cook over simmering water, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  4. Fold in heavy cream and vanilla flavoring.
  5. Pour mixture into cups and freeze until firm.
