Fruit Cake Squares

Fruit Cake Squares are a delightful no-bake treat packed with a medley of candied fruits, nuts, and shredded coconut. Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 c. shredded coconut
  • 2 c. mixed candied fruit
  • 1 c. chopped and flour-dusted dates
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Melt oleo in the bottom of a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan.
  2. Sprinkle evenly the graham cracker crumbs over the melted oleo.
  3. Sprinkle shredded coconut over the crumbs.
  4. Spread the cut up mixed candied fruit over the coconut layer.
  5. Add chopped and flour-dusted dates along with chopped nuts on top of the fruit mixture.
  6. Press the mixture down firmly.
  7. Pour milk over the pressed mixture.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes.
  9. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
