Tips & Substitutions

To enhance the flavors, consider adding a splash of white wine to the Pizzaiola sauce while it simmers. If you can't find fresh seafood, frozen options can be used; just ensure they are properly thawed. For a different texture, try adding some diced tomatoes or bell peppers to the sauce for a heartier dish. Also, ensure the seafood is fresh for the best taste.

Serving Suggestions

This dish is best served immediately, but for an elegant presentation, pair it with a light arugula salad and a glass of chilled white wine. The seafood pairs beautifully with garlic bread as a side. For a heartier meal, consider serving with Italian recipes like Spaghetti With Clam Sauce for a varied seafood experience.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. When reheating, use a low heat setting on the stovetop to gently warm the seafood and sauce, avoiding overcooking. If the linguine has absorbed too much sauce, add a splash of water or broth to restore moisture.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know when the seafood is cooked properly?

Seafood cooks quickly; lobster should be bright red, shrimp should turn pink, and mussels and clams should open up. Scallops become opaque and firm. Keep an eye on the cooking times to avoid rubbery textures.
