Fruit Stuffed Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 8 double rib pork chops with pockets cut for stuffing
  • 2 c. small dry bread cubes
  • 1 c. chopped unpared apple
  • 1 c. shredded sharp American cheese
  • 1/4 c. light raisins
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1/4 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle salt and pepper over chops.
  2. Combine bread cubes, apple, cheese, raisins, butter, orange juice, salt and cinnamon. Stuff mixture into pockets.
  3. Press edge of pockets together to seal.
  4. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or until chops are tender. Makes 8 servings.
