Fruited Squares are colorful, refreshing gelatin desserts layered with fruit and whipped topping, perfect for parties, picnics, or light, sweet treats for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 (4 serving size) pkg. Jell-O brand gelatin
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
  2. Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 1 1/2 cups.
  3. Add to gelatin and stir until slightly thickened.
  4. Remove any unmelted ice.
  5. Measure 1 cup of the gelatin mixture and fold into whipped topping.
  6. Pour the creamy layer into an 8-inch square pan.
  7. Place fruit over the creamy layer, then spoon remaining gelatin over the fruit.
  8. Chill until firm, about 3 hours.
  9. Cut into squares and serve.
