Instructions
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
- Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 1 1/2 cups.
- Add to gelatin and stir until slightly thickened.
- Remove any unmelted ice.
- Measure 1 cup of the gelatin mixture and fold into whipped topping.
- Pour the creamy layer into an 8-inch square pan.
- Place fruit over the creamy layer, then spoon remaining gelatin over the fruit.
- Chill until firm, about 3 hours.
- Cut into squares and serve.
