Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 16 oz. can French-style green beans, drained
  • 12 oz. can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 16 oz. can small sweet peas, drained
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 2 oz. jar pimientos, drained and chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine the vinegar, vegetable oil, sugar, salt, and pepper in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the drained green beans, corn, peas, chopped celery, chopped green onions, and chopped pimientos in a large bowl.
  3. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the vegetables in the bowl.
  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to meld.
