Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup orange or pineapple juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated orange peel (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine vegetable oil, orange or pineapple juice, sugar, salt, paprika, dry mustard, white pepper, and grated orange peel (if using) in a screw-top jar or small bowl.
  2. Shake well or whip with a wire whisk until ingredients are well blended and the mixture is thick and creamy.
  3. Chill the dressing in the refrigerator.
  4. Refrigerate in a tightly covered container.
  5. Shake well before using.
