Fudge Cake Pudding

Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour (self-rising)
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 12 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 Tbsp. melted shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 3 1/2 c. hot water

Instructions

  1. Mix together flour, sugar and 4 tablespoons cocoa.
  2. Stir together milk, vanilla and melted shortening; add to dry ingredients.
  3. Add nuts and pour into greased 9x
  4. 13-inch pan.
  5. Mix brown sugar and 8 tablespoons cocoa and sprinkle over batter. Pour hot water over batter.
  6. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.
