Ingredients

  • 16 oz. loaf French, Italian or sourdough bread
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • parsley flakes

Instructions

  1. Cut the loaf into 1-inch thick slices without cutting through the bottom crust.
  2. In a small bowl, blend the softened butter and minced garlic.
  3. Spread the garlic butter mixture on the bread slices.
  4. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and parsley flakes over the bread.
  5. Place the loaf on a paper towel-lined microwave-proof plate.
  6. Use the microwave's cook cycle and heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through.
