Ingredients

  • 1 cut up fryer or 12 chicken legs or wings
  • broth
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp or more sugar
  • 7 cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. Precook the chicken in very little water until partially cooked.
  2. Combine broth, soy sauce, sugar, and crushed garlic in a pot.
  3. Simmer the mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Add the precooked chicken to the sauce and baste often until the sauce thickens to a heavy syrup consistency.
