Ingredients

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. canning salt
  • 3 pt. white vinegar
  • 1 pt. cold water
  • 1 tsp. celery seed

Instructions

  1. Heat the sugar, canning salt, white vinegar, cold water, and celery seed to boiling.
  2. Pour the hot mixture over sliced cucumbers in jars.
  3. Add a clove of garlic in each jar and seal.
