Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
  • 1 angel food cake
  • whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in hot water and stir until combined.
  2. Add the frozen strawberries to the gelatin mixture and stir until the berries thaw.
  3. Tear the angel food cake into one-inch pieces and place them in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  4. Pour the gelatin mixture over the cake and stir lightly until the mixture turns pink.
  5. Chill the dessert until set, then frost with whipped topping before serving.
