Ingredients

  • 3 medium cucumbers
  • 1 large onion
  • salt
  • water
  • 12 oz. can evaporated milk
  • 5 Tbsp. vinegar
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Pare and slice cucumbers and onions.
  2. Soak the sliced cucumbers and onions in lightly salted water for 1 1/2 hours.
  3. Drain and combine with evaporated milk, vinegar, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Mix well and chill before serving.
