Gingham Carrots

Instructions
- Pare and coarsely grate carrots (about 2 to 2 1/2 cups). Place in saucepan with butter, instant onion and water.
- Cover and cook gently until carrots are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat; stir in brown sugar, nutmeg and salt and pepper to taste.
- Makes 3 to 4 servings.
