Ingredients

  • 1 (16 lb.) fully cooked bone-in ham
  • 1/2 cup strained orange marmalade
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 325°F.
  2. Place ham, fat side up, on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.
  3. Roast about 15 to 18 minutes per pound or until a meat thermometer registers 140°F, approximately 4 to 4 3/4 hours.
  4. While ham is roasting, mix orange marmalade, dark corn syrup, and dry mustard together to make the glaze.
  5. Remove ham from oven and cut off the rind.
  6. Increase oven temperature to 375°F.
  7. Score the ham with a sharp knife, making diagonal cuts 1/8-inch deep and about 3/4-inch apart in one direction, then make crosswise cuts in the other direction.
  8. Stud the ham with cloves and brush with some of the glaze.
  9. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, basting frequently with more glaze until the glaze is golden brown.
  10. Remove the ham to a warm serving platter.
