Ingredients

  • 3 lb. cabbage
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 2 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Shred the cabbage, green pepper, and onions.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients and heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
  3. Pour the hot dressing over the shredded vegetables.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool completely.
  5. Cover and store in the refrigerator for up to nine days.
