Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves or 2 tablespoons whole cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon or 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 3/4 cup lemon concentrate
  • 12 ounces carbonated lemon drink or 12 ounces ginger ale or 24 ounces prepared lemonade
  • 1 pint orange sherbet

Instructions

  1. Combine water, ground cloves or whole cloves, and cinnamon or cinnamon sticks in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Refrigerate until very cold.
  4. Combine the cooled syrup with orange juice, lemon concentrate, carbonated lemon drink or ginger ale or lemonade, and orange sherbet.
