Ingredients

  • Graham crackers
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Line the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan with aluminum foil.
  2. Arrange graham crackers in a single layer on the bottom of the pan.
  3. In a boiler, melt the margarine over medium heat.
  4. Add the light brown sugar and chopped pecans to the melted margarine.
  5. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  6. Pour the hot mixture evenly over the graham crackers in the pan.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and cut into squares while still warm.
