- Beat egg yolks with sugar in a double boiler with an electric mixer for 10 minutes over 2 inches of water in the pan.
- Remove from heat and stir in half of the Grand Marnier.

- Beat the heavy cream until almost stiff peaks form.
- Fold the whipped cream into the chilled yolk mixture.
- Stir in the remaining Grand Marnier.
- Serve with pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries, or watermelon.
