Grandma'S Nut Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. Crisco
  • 1/4 c. cold water
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cider vinegar
  • 1 small egg

Instructions

  1. In medium bowl, mix flour, sugar and salt with pastry blender. Cut in Crisco until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. In a small bowl, beat egg, cold water and cider vinegar, then add to flour mixture. Stir until dough forms a ball.
  3. Divide in half.
  4. Wrap in plastic wrap.
  5. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
  6. Use only 1 ball in this pie.
