Ingredients

  • 4 cups warm water
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 tablespoons oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 packages yeast

Instructions

  1. Mix warm water, sugar, oil, salt, and yeast well in a large bowl.
  2. Gradually add 9 to 10 cups of flour until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Turn the dough out onto a greased bowl and turn to coat the top with grease.
  4. Let the dough rise until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough and form into rolls.
  6. Place the rolls in a greased pan and let rise until doubled in size.
  7. Bake at 400°F (200°C) until golden brown.
  8. Brush margarine over the tops of the hot rolls before serving.
