Ingredients

  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup margarine or butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons green crème de menthe
  • 2 tablespoons white crème de cacao
  • 1 1/2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • cocoa brownies

Instructions

  1. Prepare cocoa brownies as directed.
  2. Allow the brownies to cool completely.
  3. Mix powdered sugar, softened margarine or butter, green crème de menthe, and white crème de cacao until well combined.
  4. Spread the powdered sugar mixture evenly over the cooled brownies.
  5. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to set the layer.
  6. Heat the unsweetened chocolate over low heat until melted.
  7. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the powdered sugar layer.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours to allow the bars to set.
  9. Cut into approximately 1 1/2 x 1-inch bars to serve.
